Simplicity is at the heart of Cibo. To demonstrate how easy it is to achieve high-quality food and healthy profit opportunities, we’ve filmed it in action – using six of our favourite recipes.

The videos below showcase the straightforward journey for users – via the Cibo’s intuitive touchscreen and simple icons. Just select an option – and the Cibo will do the rest.

Looking for menu inspiration? Six items are pre-programmed to get you off to a flying start. You can fine-tune these standard settings by visiting our ‘Optimising your Cibo’ section, to create your own recipes for pizzas, toasties – and much more.

For the more adventurous chefs, Cibo also leaves room for creativity. You can develop your own bespoke menu programmes to support your menu offering.

Ingredients

- 1 kg '00' flour

- 30 g Semolina flour

- 1 tsp Salt

- 7 g Dried yeast

- ½ tbsp Golden caster sugar

- 5 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil

- 650 ml Lukewarm water

- 60 g Tomato sauce

- 30 g Cheddar

- 30 g Mozzarella

Directions

Place day ingredients in a bowl, add water and oil and mix together
Leave for 10 minutes to rest, knead for ten minutes
Cover, refrigerate overnight
Remove from fridge, divide and shape into balls
Rest the dough balls and prove, stretch as required
Stretch and rest the dough for five minutes on to the Teflon sheet

Bacon and Camembert Dauphinoise Potatoes

Ingredients

- 8 large potatoes

- 4 cloves of garlic

- 180g Camembert cheese

- 550ml double cream

- 10 rashers streaky bacon

- 1 knob of butter (for greasing tin)

- 1 tsp olive oil

Directions

Dice the bacon and fry in a teaspoon of olive oil until golden brown, set aside to cool
Peel potatoes and submerge in cold water
Cut potatoes into 2mm slices and lay onto kitchen towel to dry, and thinly slice the garlic
Slice camembert lengthways and put to one side
Grease tin with butter to prevent sticking
Press tray bake icon
Lay potato slices one by one overlapping in the bottom of the tin (one slice thick covering), doing the same with the garlic, bacon and tear camembert slices across the layer. Season each layer well.
Repeat this process until you have used your ingredients, make sure top layer has no bacon on it or it will catch when grilling.
Pour cream slowly in and around the potatoes allowing it to soak through gaps, put the lid on or tightly cover with tin foil
Cook!
Remove the lid at step 3 of cooking process to allow the dauphinoise to crisp.

Pesto Palmiers

Ingredients

- 375g ready rolled puff pastry

- 50g pesto

- 20g parmesan

Directions

Take pastry out of fridge for 10 minutes to make it easier to roll and prevent cracking.
Spread pesto evenly onto the pastry then sprinkle grated parmesan, season lightly with salt and pepper.
Roll pastry tightly until you meet the middle, then do the same on the other side, squeeze tight and wrap in greaseproof paper.
Place the pastry in the freezer for half an hour to firm.

- 375g ready rolled puff pastry

- 400g sausage meat

- 1 tsp dried sage

- ½ tsp salt

- 2 tsp mustard

Directions

Lay out pastry and cut lengthways into two long even strips
Season sausage meat and add dried sage, split mixture in half.
Spread 1tsp of mustard evenly onto each strip of pastry and lay sausage meat near one edge of the pastry
Fold pastry over sausage meat and crimp folded side with a fork.
Divide each roll into 8 smaller sausage rolls
Cut three slits on the top and place the sausage rolls in the fridge to chill for 30 mins

Banana and Nutella Muffins

Ingredients

- 70g melted butter

- 50g soft brown sugar

- 1 large egg

- 3 small ripe bananas

- 1 tsp baking powder

- 190g self-raising flour

- 1 tsp vanilla essence

- ½ tsp salt

- 10 tsp Nutella

Directions

Mix all the dry ingredients together
Mash bananas until smooth, then add egg, vanilla essence, and melted butter
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix

Add tsp of Nutella to centre of each mix, then cover with another layer of muffin batter

Goats Cheese, Asparagus and Onion Marmalade Quiches

Ingredients

- 320g ready rolled shortcrust pastry

- 3 eggs (one for egg wash)

- 200ml double cream

- 100g goats cheese log

- 6 asparagus stalks

- 6 tbsp onion marmalade

- 1 knob of butter

- 1tsp olive oil

Directions

Take pastry out of fridge to make it easier to roll out and less likely to crack.
Crack 2 eggs into cream, mix until combined but not vigorously, season well.
To cook your asparagus, put a knob of butter in a frying pan with teaspoon of olive oil, cook on a high heat. Once the asparagus starts to colour add 2 tablespoons of water, leave to cook on a low heat till the stems are tender.
Cut goats cheese into 2cm slices and set to one side.
Place pastry rolled out on a surface, and roll to 2mm thickness.
Gentry drop the pastry into the tins using your thumb to push the pastry into the sides, gently, to prevent tears. Leave a lip around the cases.
Using scissors cut around the quiche tin leaving a 3mm lip, so pastry doesn’t fall back into the tin when cooking.

Cut asparagus stems in half, then into 3 strips lengthways, then lay the slices onto the base of your pastry.
Place slice of goats cheese on top, spoon marmalade around goats cheese, then slowly pour in egg mix around the goats cheese. Brush pastry edge with egg wash.
Place quiche tins in oven.

- 6 anchovy fillets (15g approx.)

- 70g passata

- 30g parmesan (grated)

- 15g mozzarella (grated)

- 10g baby capers

- 5 black olives

- 45g red onion (roughly a quarter)

- Salt and pepper to taste

- 5g “00” or bread flour (for stretching dough)

Directions

Mix passata with olive oil and basil, season well with salt and pepper and leave to side.
Slice onion very finely, cut black olives in half and grate cheeses if needed.
Lightly flour a large chopping board, or a clean work surface and start gradually stretching your dough out to 12” width.
Press pizza icon.
Spread the passata evenly onto base, leaving a small lip around the pizza to form the crust.
Tear or slice anchovies in half and evenly distribute around pizza, scatter olives, baby capers and onion slices (broken up) around and sprinkle cheese on.

- 1 tsp chilli oil (optional)

- 20g mozzarella (grated)

- Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Mix passata with olive oil and 3 finely chopped basil leaves, season well with salt and pepper and set aside.
Lightly flour a large chopping board, or a clean work surface and start gradually stretching your dough out to 12” width.
Press pizza icon.
Spread the passata evenly onto base, leaving a small lip around the pizza to form the crust.

Directions

Press toasted sandwich icon.
Cut ciabatta roll open evenly.
Smother each side with sun-dried tomato paste and season lightly.
Cover one side of ciabatta with mozzarella.
Place on teflon sheet directly on base
Once the cheese is melted and the opposite side is lightly browned add your prosciutto and lay some basil leaves on top, slice in half and enjoy!

Directions

Butter one side of each sourdough slice.
Slice onion into fine rings.
Mix cheeses together.

Spread cheese over the two sides of unbuttered sourdough, and sprinkle over some paprika for a subtle hint of smokiness.
Place the sourdough slices butter side down and toast open.

Directions

Lightly flour a large chopping board, or a clean work surface and start gradually stretching your dough out to 12” width.

Spread the pesto evenly onto base, leaving a small lip around the pizza to form the crust.
Using two teaspoons, spread chunks of gorgonzola across base.
Arrange goats cheese, scatter pine nuts, and sprinkle over parmesan.
